Ghosting is a term used to describe the act of breaking up with someone without actually breaking up with them. Instead of telling you they don’t want to see you or talk to you anymore, they pull a disappearing act. Usually they take their time to completely disappear leaving you to wonder what exactly is going on. Here are five signs that you are being ghosted by the man you are dating.
1. He’s always too busy to follow through on plans
A man who is ghosting you may agree to plans, but when it’s time to meet up he will suddenly have something else to do. This will happen every single time and you might assume he wants to do things with you because he never says no, but his actions tell you he doesn’t want to spend time with you.
2. His texts become fewer and farther between
A man who is ghosting you will begin to take longer to reply to texts and phone calls each time you try to get in touch. At first it might take him 12 hours to reply, then it’s 24 hours, and then you don’t hear from him for five days. You may have to text him four times before he finally replies. He won’t offer any apology or excuse for not answering you sooner. He will act like it didn’t happen and talk as though things are normal before he slows down his replies again.
